Project Coordination and Administration Team

 

Viktoria T. Feil

Project Coordinator and Office Manager

Ms. Feil brings over 20 years of accounting experience as well as office management, business start-up and franchise relations/business planning experience to Bascon, Inc.  She has many Corporate Administrative duties as well as responsibilities for Project Contracts and Coordination including: customizing owner contracts, soliciting contractors and proposals, evaluating competitive bids, issuing all project related subcontracts and purchase orders and working as a liaison with project managers and on-site personnel. Since joining Bascon in 2000, Ms. Feil has also worked closely with each department as part of a team effort for the successful completion of all projects.

Prior to joining Bascon, Ms. Feil earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and was later employed by Comair, Inc. as a Financial Analyst for two years. She was responsible for preparing financial statements, SEC Reporting and various tax returns for Comair and its FBO operations.  Ms. Feil played a key role in the preparation and execution of Comair’s move from a family-owned business to a Public Corporation.

After leaving Comair, Ms. Feil moved into the position of Assistant Controller for Skyline Chili.  In that position she was responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, commissary cost control and all franchise reporting.  She was also an integral part of the financial team that worked on the financial and SEC filings for Skyline’s transition from a family-owned business to a publicly held company.

 

Shelly L. Nichols

Accounting Manager

Ms. Nichols brings over 25 years of accounting experience to Bascon, Inc.  She is responsible for Corporate Financial and Administrative areas, including:  Accounting, Taxes, Payroll, Cash Management and Human Resources.  Since joining Bascon in 1995, Ms. Nichols has established many accounting procedures as well as implementing a new state-of-the-art accounting system to enable Bascon to keep up with the ever-changing construction industry.

Prior to joining Bascon, Ms. Nichols received a B.S. degree in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She then joined the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. for six years before being employed by Laidlaw Transit as a District Accountant for two years.  While at Arthur Andersen & Co., Ms. Nichols helped to establish the growing area of Small Business Development.  Her responsibilities included supervising staff, establishing and maintaining accounting procedures and developing a management information system for small start-up clients.  As District Accountant at Laidlaw Transit she was responsible for preparing reports and various tax returns for twelve individual locations.  Ms. Nichols was instrumental in developing and implementing accounting procedures, and supervised the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll staff.
